We especially love Harbor Springs during the Festival weekend. It is during our “shoulder” season—after summer’s delightful temperature but when there is still time to take a dip in Lake Michigan and before the serious colors arrive in all their glory and the air is crisp and perfect for high school football.

If you love to hike or ride, you have to experience the amazing trails maintained by our friends at the Top of Michigan Trails Council. Have you heard of the M-119 and its Tunnel of Trees? It is a fabulous drive from start to finish and goes right through Harbor Springs. Make sure you check out Three Pines Studio once you have arrived in Cross Village. Have you ever chucked a pumpkin? If not, the you must check out the fall festival at Pond Hill Farm. It runs all fall season and offers activities for the entire family.
